Mills Plains from Nile Farm

This is an interior landscape of Nile Farm framed by the preoccupations of ‘things to be done’. Mills Plains, which Glover often painted, surrounds the house, and is a potent presence. The current owners of Nile Farm are very much aware of its historic and iconic value and see themselves as custodians of both the house and, as much as they can, the landscape.
