Ranelagh Twilight – the jam factory

This is the landscape beyond my garden, a view I often contemplate in the evening after work in my studio down here in the Huon Valley. It is a south-westerly aspect, across bordering paddocks and old buildings that were once stables, cool storage sheds and a jam factory of a large orchard. In the deepening shadows there is a faint echo of this district’s heritage.
