Rosny she-oaks at dusk
This is my impression of the she-oak lined foreshore of Rosny Point. In the evening the harsh scraggy trunks and drooping stringy branches form an impressionable silhouette.
These old hardened trees are naturally dark in colour, weather beaten, with brittle wiry foliage.
The soft evening light on the River Derwent enhances the silhouette and is in contrast to the forested she-oak forest.
A harsh Tasmanian landscape that has a beauty of its own.
