Vanishing in the Walls
The Walls of Jerusalem in the Central Highlands is place where mountains, lakes and glacial moraines formed in the Pleistocene define the landscape. Borders of coniferous shrubs and short woody heaths weave between Pencil Pines and Snow Gums shaping the terrain with the mosaic appearance of an ordered garden. Button grass and sedges circle the myriad tarns that mirror the stillness of the moment.
