Big Skies

Asked what was most precious about living here and I answered spontaneously ‘the big skies’. John Glover would have encountered the same skies, as did the inhabitants of the island thousands of years ago. Thoughts arise about what the sky and the air carry; whether signs or fragments of events that happen in other less peaceful parts of the globe may be perceptible. (I ‘m aware of the smoke clouds from the bushfires right now).
