Black currawongs

A little Hitchcock? In May 2016 more Black currawongs than I’ve ever seen together suddenly turned up behind my cottage, covering a small paddock. They were stationed at some distance from one another, keenly attending to something in the ground. I was tickled by parallels with Black Angus cattle grazing on the far slope, and how perspective reversed the size difference between them.
