Michaye Boulter

Bruny Island, Sea Dreaming, 2005

oil on canvas

136 x 181cm

From the artist

This is a painting about the connection with water which lies deep in the psyche of island people. For me it reflects a childhood spent gazing into water. A time where the space around me was entirely ephemeral, flexing, dancing, shimmering. A world devoid of distracting images.
