The work reflects the viewer in Caspar David Friedrich's great Romantic landscape "Wanderer Looking over a Sea of Fog" , 1815 in which the wanderer looks out over a virginal landscape shrouded in mist. Friedrich said: "I have to stay alone in order to fully contemplate and feel nature."
Lives in Launceston. Exhibiting since mid-1990s. City of Burnie Tas Art Award 2010 and 2008. Finalist in the Glover 2004 & 2005 and Poimena Art Award 2007. Represented in Tasmanian public art gallery collections.
