Maria Island is timeless, captivating – a penal settlement in 1825; Bernacchi's cement works in 1924; & a people's haven in 2003. Actuality is simplified to shape, light and colour – Georgian hipped roofs and whitewashed walls against dark pine trees and hills.
Born Dandenong, Victoria 1949. Exhibiting since mid 1970s. Represented in civic collections througout Victoria.
