From the artist

My route begins on the Derwent Estuary, passing the paper mill at Boyer and continues through the Derwent Valley, climbing into the mist of Mount Field: an alternative world where primeval pandani populate sub-alpine forest.

Artist background

Lives and works in Hobart. Exhibiting extensively since 1996 including solos shows in Sydney 2011, Melbourne 2003, 2005, 2007, 2010 & 2011; Canberra 2002 & 2004; Adelaide 2001; Hobart 2006 & 2009; and San Francisco 1996 & 1998; and a commission at Art Gallery of NSW. Group shows include The Skullbone Experiment, QVMAG Launceston & COFA, NSW & 146 ArtSpace, Hobart 2014. Winner of Conrad Jupiters Art Prize 2000.
