I was painting some beautiful gums when a flock of galahs landed nearby and started feeding on the grass near me. Their colours were so vibrant and startling that I decided to include them in the final composition.
Born in Peak Hill NSW 1930. Lives and works in Tasmania. Exhibiting since mid-1960s. Highly commended Tasmanian Art Award Eskleigh 1996.
