Green House Effect

Driving from Launceston to Hobart, there appears a perfectly conical peak. It is miles from any city, far from the beach or any well-visited wilderness. Even the highway takes a detour so that I never get a close look. As I sit in my studio I watch the bulldozers start to wok on the neighbour’s farm, I wonder how long we will allow that conical hill to rest in the middle of nowhere.
