From the artist

I return to the same suburbs (in this case Lutana) in search of the inconspicuous and the surprising – alert to anything I may have missed. I look for things that are ostensibly invisible, even in full view, as a practice of retrieval and recovery. To paraphrase Walter Benjamin, the true picture of the past whizzes by in the moment of its recognisability.
