What we usually experience as landscape is a composite of glances, stares and blindspots. Added to this are our thoughts, memories and cultural associations which filter through us as we see. This painting is about the act of looking at the Great Western Tiers and Midlands Country whilst driving.
Lives and works in WA. Exhibiting since late 1980s primarily in WA including Joondalup Invitation Art Prize 2003 and Fremantle Art Centre 2006. Finalist in 8 Glover Art Prizes.
