From the artist

This work grew out of a cold winter in the Central Highlands. It explores the phenomenon of freezing and thawing, and especially the dynamics of temperature inversions at dawn – the embodiment of these early morning interactions with the earth.

Born in Ripon, UK. Currently living and working in Launceston. Exhibiting since 2004. Highly commended TasArt Award Burnie 2008.
