Once, long ago, the mountain was revered. It had a place in people's hearts, like one of so many aunties. Then, after many children, and their children's children, the winds brought great change... Its children were scattered, destroyed, the songs were silent, the fires doused. The heart of the mountain was broken. Still it stands watching, waiting.
