Narawntapu – 185 degrees, 2005

oil on linen

From the artist

From the middle of the road a complete 360-degree panorama was photographed. We are interrupted in our search for the sublime by evidence of our contemporary reality. The landscape is as much about our own desires as it is about our need to escape.
