The vantage point looks from a steep hill across the flat plain of the Midlands in Tasmania, as the highway snakes through the small communities. Having just returned from a trip to Asia, the contrasted isolation is a stirring reminder of how we live in this region, which holds it own beauty of stillness. It is painted from an original watercolour study in the field.
