From the artist

This image explores heads at the mouth of the Tamar River and the view out to Bass Strait where three signal beacons punctuate the horizon line. Attention is draw to the ever-changing relationship between sky and water, and light and dark.

Artist background

Born In Sydney 1956. Lives in Hobart. Exhibiting since 1987 including solo shows in Hobart, Melbourne and Canberra. Category winner of Hutchins 2007 and winner of Burnie Art Prize 2009. Represented in most major state and national public collections.
