Valley #7

Time shifting. The emptiness and fullness of a valley. Infinite variations with in the light field as it falls across landforms are reflected within this work. I consider the nuances from the first soft morning light to the lingering Tasmanian twilight. I try to imagine how early painters such as Glover viewed the uncluttered landscape. I also refer to Piguenit by limiting my palette as he did for his majestic studies of the South West for his National Geographic submissions.
