"Each day as I walk with my dog ,I watch her chase rabbits across the paddock and into their lair, where she dives down after them, deep into the earth, into a dark and warm world. This painting is an imaginary map of their invisible subterranean world."
Born Sydney 1960. Lives and works in Judbury, Tasmania. Exhibiting in major solo and groups shows throughout Australia since early 1980s. Winner of Fleurieu Art Prize 2008 & Island Art Prize 2003. Finalist in Wynne Prize 2004; Glover 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008. Represent in Tasmanian and national public collections.
