Entries are now open for the 2020 Glover Prize

After a fantastic, record-breaking year in 2019, the Glover Prize is open again for 2020. All artists are invited to enter their artwork into next year’s Glover Prize, with entries open to local, interstate and international artists. The $50,000 Glover Prize is awarded for an artwork which reflects the unique landscape of Tasmania.

Artists do not need to have been to Tasmania but we encourage artists to submit a landscape painting of Tasmania that stimulates conversation about the meaning and possibilities expressed in the words ‘landscape’, ‘painting’ and ‘Tasmania’.

An exhibition of the 42 finalists’ paintings is held at Falls Park Pavilion in Evandale, Tasmania, between Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 15th of March. During this time, members of the public are welcomed to admire the best artworks selected by the judges.

Entries close 24 January 2020.
