100 Kilometres of Tasmanian Landscape
As a passenger in a car I held my left arm in from of me to block my right visual field forcing me to look directly at the landscape to the left of the road. With my right hand I frantically tried to record what I saw, sheet after sheet paper drawing the shifting sense of rhythms of the Arthur Highway as I daily travelled an hour and a half to work and then back home. This painting depicts layers of my experience over time as I travelled through the same landscape in opposite directions.
