A Day at Duck Reach
Once the conventions of a moment in time and a single viewpoint have been abandoned, a world of possibilities is opened up, concepts such as left and right and up and down are soon forgotten. This painting is about the experience of being there. It is a collection of images, recorded and remembered from an early spring visit to this historic and remarkable location: Duck Reach, the dramatic site of Australia’s first hydro-electric power station.
