Blue & white

I make observational drawings of the plants in my local area and use these drawings in the studio to make large abstract paintings. These paintings are exploratory and are based on free play with the shapes, lines and colours of the landscapes. Recently I have been painting monochrome and have been using larger, more open shapes. This painting is based on the banksias down near the creek in Molesworth.
