Cethana Lake Lorinna

This painting is about a memory of the canoe trip I took on Lake Cethana in 2007. The lake was created with the building of the Mersey-Forth Hydro-electric Scheme. It is a resting place, holding the remnants of a great forest that once lined the old valley floor. The majesty of the forms and the reflections of these vertical structures that once were trees captivated me.
