D’Entrecastreaux – Spring

My use of maritime charts to navigate this region has led me to make paintings that combine the schematic representation of the chart with the pictorial view from my changing vantage point. I wish to make a painting in which the image and the means of attaining it are inseparable – so that the image is the paint and the paint is the image.
