Drought 2003

My painting is the drought stricken landscape alongside volumes of useless still, briny Derwent. The blacked and dying trees were magnificent in their foliage-free state clawing at the sky asking for rain. However the young eucalypts were glossy and robust and appeared to be the promise for the future.
