Exploring the South West
In a world shaped by conflict and uncertainty, the remote wilderness of Tasmania offers a powerful refuge. My journey through the South West revealed a timeless landscape whose quiet resilience and seasonal rhythms provide solace and stillness. Largely untouched, this environment stands in contrast to the noise of contemporary life, offering space for reflection and calm.
Painting is my sanctuary. Through the act of painting, the outside world falls away, allowing me to fully inhabit moments of peace found within the landscape. In this process, I translate the serenity of Tasmania’s wilderness into an expression of freedom, presence, and hope.
