False Promise

For three years Central Tasmania has suffered severe drought. Some mornings on my way to Hobart form Bothwell I noticed clouds, apparently heavy with moisture, resting low on the hills. Surely it would rain today. The local farmers new better than I that these misty mornings were nothing more than a false promise.
