Hobart and surrounds
Living on the flats of Moonah, I am constantly aware of the towering presence of the hills that surround Hobart. From my vantage point, these hills loom—always in sight, always influencing how I see the world. In my abstract paintings, I explore this connection between the man-made and the natural world, drawing inspiration from the way these hills frame the city and shape its rhythms. Their ever-present, looming presence serves as a constant reminder of the wildness that exists just beyond our built environment.
