Just through these clouds
My work is inspired by uncanny natural forms. I am drawn to unexplained rock formations, weather patterns and natural phenomena which provokes thoughts of the otherworldly and the unexplained. With an instinctive focus on landscape, elemental material, geology, and the environment, I am interested in the slow decay and environmental transformation throughout time. As well as taking a critical eye to environmental issues and the over consumption of our natural resources, my practice embraces a sense of optimism, and through the use of collage and arrangement I engage with the playful reforming and reclaiming of that which is unsuccessful, cast aside or decayed.
