Kunanyi Tors

Each time I visit Tasmania, I am drawn to the incredible post-glacial landscapes and forests. I am particularly fond of the miniature tors that grace the summit of Kunanyi, Mount Wellington. I trained as a printmaker; I specialise in large-scale woodcuts. I prefer the woodblock, so for the past 34 years, I have exhibited the block itself rather than the print. I strive to imbue the work with the energy I feel when I experience the ancient landscape.
