Last Light, New Harbour, South West Cape

This painting was inspired by a particularly memorable lingering summer twilight, experienced in solitude on a wilderness beach. As the colours ever so slowly faded and the darkness gently enfolded, I felt a strong sense of intimacy with the landscape.
