Last Light
This is one piece in a series of works exploring the distinct nature of the Tasmanian sky. The light, colours, tones and atmosphere are a homage to memory as much as they are a reference to fact, and being so are drawn from a point of nostalgia and the notion of the ‘ideal’. There is no ownership to any particular location and it is not intended to trigger any form of political dialogue. It only asks one thing of the viewer, an emotional response.
