Leaving Bothwell – Evening

Landscapes are places in which life is played out. They are full of our experiences, recollected or imagined. Even in what may at first appear a common setting, I wanted to evoke some sense of occasion. The painted landscape is not a barren place – it is a theatre full of human issues.
