Looking south from home last December

I spend a hours watching my son surf at Clifton Beach, where we live south east of Hobart. The sky and the sea dominate my view as I look south to the horizon past Tasman Peninsula and South Arm Peninsula. I feel calm, almost mesmerised, watching the changing ocean and sky, lucky to be in an uncomplicated and peaceful landscape where sky and water dominate. As I look the sky and water appear connected, they become one.
