Made in Strahan – Tasmania
The tapestry of shapes and colours and juxtapostion in the landscape of these humble dwellings, hand-made from recycled bits of tin, wood and wire, speak to me of a simple life, a close-knit community, savouring the past and old traditions of mateship and cameraderie. I stumbled upon it late in the day, tucked behind the sea-side town of Strahan.
