Narawntapu Detail

This work is as much about the space we encounter just before we enter a ‘wilderness experience’, the place we park the car, make the last phone call on our cell phone before we start out ’20 minute walk’. The proposed Pulp Mill is to be built near this place and I see some part of my role as a painter is to record the intimate detail of this specific place as its future is uncertain.
