John Glover viewed and interpreted the landscape of Tasmania in a way that tweaked and twisted the shapes of his present reality to create his version of an exotic and distinctive location. This depiction of the landscape was the Glover filtered lens unique to him, and now in contemporary times it is wise to not let the imaginative and fanciful musings and inspiring methods of seeing this landscape be gradually blotted out by the banal, stale and tasteless tokens of a future where Glovers trees have lost their magic.
