Pine Plantation near Scottsdale

Radiata pine plantations have become part of the rural ‘working forest’ landscape in Tasmania. The method of planting the trees closely together ensures the grown straight upwards towards the light. In the near mature plantation very little light filters to ground level and branches reach out in the darkness.
