Red Rock Pool

The work explores the oscillation between the power and other worldly grandeur of the Tasmanian coast and the fine detail of the lichen and oxidisation on granite that is a feature of this ancient landscape. While harnessing the methodology of the Pointillists, Parisian politeness is replaced by a critical awareness of the fragility of the environment.
