Red Shift

Since I could drive I have stopped my car countless times to see what animals have lain dead on and beside Tasmanian roadways. Their bodies form gruesome coastlines bordering the tides of hurried commuters. The joey plucked from its dead mother and which will feed the young of another species is testament to the many dead immature animals I have seen on my Northern Tasmanian road explorations.
