Rocks, middens and Tasmanian tiger
When I was small the idea of Tasmania to me was a fantastical destination of wild campsites and the unimaginable possibilities, unknown creatures and wilderness. I would scour the edges of the camping area, fascinated and amazed by the strange protrusions in the dunes, trails of shells and the delicate structures of middens erupting from the sand and debris with their mysterious layering that seemed like some kind of cipher.
