Sentinel Lake St.Clair, Leeawulenna
Like a sentinel, The Pump House sits across Lake St.Clair in the moonlight. The water seems almost oily as it distorts the reflected light of this manmade folly somehow adding something surreal in the blackness where the real sentinels, the mountains, sit shrouded in blackness. They sit in the background seemingly patronising this young folly into thinking it is guarding over Leeawulenna, “Let him pretend” they mock and rumble amiably.
