The Nightingale and the Rose

The gardens of suburbia proffer a plethora of native and introduced plants ā€“ a microcosm of the larger landscape ā€“ albeit a cultivated landscape, perhaps inspired by the need to nurture as much as the desire for beauty. Iā€™m sure it takes much less effort to enjoy, than tend.
