The Skeleton Trees #2

“The Skeleton Trees” depict a landscape from the Cradle Mountain plateau, with the colours muted on an overcast day – I remember looking at these trees with fascination, their bleached bark white against the lush greens and purples of the surrounding marshes and tussock grasses. We saw this again and again, hiking the trail, with the lush and ever-changing landscape brimming with life , the dead trees a reminder of all our mortality.
