The winery
Art is a form of mysticism, as Giorgio Agamben suggests. Mysticism not only creates ancient myths but also shapes our imaginations about the present and the future. The ancient oracle bone script of China, now indecipherable to modern readers, leave behind symbolic remnants that reflect the intricate relationship between humanity and nature. This interplay is exactly what I seek in my artistic creation: a shared myth that transcends history—what I refer to as contemporary mysticism. Similarly, the Tasmanian winery has transplanted the ancient European tradition of wine offerings, vividly crafting a multicultural myth that bridges the old and the new.
