We Are Here

Whilst traversing the Central Plateau I noticed an unusual anomaly, an imposing pile of decaying steel. Later research indicated it was the remains of the Hydro construction of the Liawenee canal and the damming of Lake Augusta mid-last century. Do we accept such man-made trash as part of the landscape, something sculpted by the elements? Or do we want to do something about it? It was as if the environment was working hard to reduce it to a skeleton of admiration.
