A Tasmanian Departure: 1975, 2013

oil on canvas

90 x 146cm

From the artist

My first departure from the island in 1975 held the promise of adventure in another land and gave the experience of leaving the ground to travel through the void. A new perspective of my home and the world was achieved that day with the understanding that the sky was to be the conduit between home and new experiences.
